Membership Benefits
Benefits
Membership of the IFHP is open to any organisation or to any individual person who supports the aims and objectives of IFHP and who wishes to be part of a world-wide network of professionals in housing and planning, participate in its activities and benefit from and contribute to the information and new ideas that these activities generate. Attendance at a world congress or an annual conference is an excellent introduction to the IFHP community, and members enjoy a considerable reduction on the registration fee. As well as being a direct source of quality information, it is also an opportunity to meet fellow professionals, establish useful contacts and share experiences. Participation in smaller events provides a more focused approach to the network; membership of an IFHP Working Group means playing an active role in the development of new and more specific professional approaches.
Categories of membership
IFHP distinguishes three categories of membership – associate, individual and corporate membership – each having its own benefits as set out in the chart below:

Members area
Membership also gives access to the members area of the website. Here members have the benefit of downloading presentations and other sources of information from the IFHP events. There is also access to the coordinates of other members and an opportunity via the website forum to generate further exchange and ideas with other members.
Members also get 20% reduction on IFHP publications, can attend Council meetings where they have voting rights and can therefore influence IFHP decision-making.
