Staying Current

The IFHP has always focused on understanding the most dominant urban development issues of its time. To ensure relevancy, the organization periodically adjusts its agenda and structure.

In that spirit, and particularly in light of our rapidly changing world, the IFHP is in the midst of a re-calibration of the way it will fulfil its mission. Major changes have come from this sharpening of focus. They are embodied in a new leadership, new governance, a new secretariat and a fundamental shift away from past event-driven agendas towards a new bias towards meaningful content about emerging issues. Many of these changes have already been implemented. There are more to come.
