Cultural regeneration: the return of the city.
![]()
This year, as part of its programme as European Capital of Culture 2008, celebrating 800 years of history, Liverpool is hosting the IFHP Annual International Conference at its modern new Arena & Convention Centre.
As “a city with a strong reputation for effective regeneration”, Liverpool will be promoting discussion and the exchange of best practices in planning and regeneration among international experts.
Take a look at the programme in the final call for papers and fill in the registration form if you wish to attend.
As the Liverpool conference gets nearer, the number of registrations is already approaching the ideal number of 200-220. We advise you to check the hotel availability before registering. Besides the IFHP conference, another conference and the Liverpool Sound Concert featuring Paul McCartney attract many people to the city. There are just a few hotel rooms left. |
