Past Events

In this section of the website, you will find a summary of the main IFHP events in 2007 and 2006, with reference where possible to websites or other relevant sources of more detailed information.

The most important event was the 51st World Congress held in Copenhagen from 23rd-27th September 2007. On http://www.ifhp2007copenhagen.dk/ you will be able to find almost all of the valuable information and ideas presented at this conference on how to increase the chances of a more sustainable future for cities.

The IFHP spring conference in Lisbon, from 5th-8th May 2007, was on the all important theme of intensive land use.

There is a short report on the other 7 IFHP events in 2007 as well as a summary of the two main IFHP events in 2006 - the 50th World Congress in Geneva and the spring conference in Macau.

In addition, there is an historical overview of all IFHP past events before 2006, with references to publications where they are still available. These may be interesting in a historical context.
