1st COFHUAT/IFHP Summer School

Menton, 23-30 August 2007 - 1st COFHUAT/IFHP Summer School: “Equipment and development of the Mediterranean arch – from an urban corridor to a mobility corridor?”     

This event was organized by COFHUAT (IFHP’s branch in France), Sciences Po Paris and SNCF (French Railway company), and was attended by 20 students, young professionals from Europe, Russia, Turkey and Algeria.

With the construction of the new TGV line between Barcelona and Rome, together they developed reflections about cross border corridors, new trends on tourism and urban planning and the development of a “Thalys du Sud”.

Several experts from public and private sector lectured at Sciences Po - Menton campus and also 3 major field visits were organized: Monaco, Nice, Ventimiglia-Italy.
