The international jury, chaired by filmmaker Raiko Radoviç, was delighted with the subdued yet precise visual language of the winner Joachim Lepastiers
Four short movies about Paris and its outlying boulevard.
The jury report stated:
"Questions of vanishing urban identities as well as attribution, between new, bombast and aggressive developments and subdued, faded and forgotten historic cityscape of lore is treated with gentle and delicate hand in this French entry.
The first prize was given unanimously to this unassuming film of candid beauty and penetrating wit."
