Blog - A former high bunker in Wroclaw has been transformed into a contemporary art museum with a spectacular roof top bar. Even more impressive is that the conversion has been made for only 1 million Euros. Contemporary Museum Wroclaw is a role model in transformation of historic landmarks.

For whom and with whom are we transforming and developing our cities? How can social planners and
city developers together with other bodies contribute to counteracting growing social segregation in our
cities? What are the new tools available to us?
There were seminars, workshops and visits to different places in Gothenburg. Keynote speakers
were Nicole Foss (Canada), Lars Reuterswärd (Sweden), Carin Smuts (South Africa), Ann McAfee (Canada) and
Cord Soehlke (Germany). Congress lectures by Claudio Acioly (UN-HABITAT) and Søren Hermansen.
