For the third time IFHP will be present at the Smart City Expo world congress in Barcelona that takes place from November 18-20. This time IFHPs president Flemming Borreskov will give a speech at the parallel session SMART SOCIETY about “Civic engagement in urban development” Tuesday 18 of November at 12:15. During the course of the EXPO, IFHP will have a base at the Copenhagen Solutions EXPO stand.

 

We believe that Mr. Borreskov speak at the expo will contribute with new insight and inspiration to the people working with cities around the globe, on how cities can gain benefit of involving the citizens in the city development process based on cases from Scandinavian cities” says Ole Stilling, CEO at IFHP.

 

Smart City Expo world Congress is a good platform for IFHP to be at in relation to:

 

  • Getting access to new strategic partners focusing on city related issues as IFHP
  • Getting access to new knowledge and insight in relation to city development which could be relevant for future IFHP member driven activities

 

Smart City expo world congress is held for the 4th time in Barcelona with more than 9000 visitors to come. 300 of the world’s top experts in city development and solutions will debate their visions of sustainable and efficient city development.
