Blogging for Tomorrow
IFHP’s blog returns in a different form to bring you our second-century take on the world of all things housing, community and planning related. Our in-house and visiting contributors stand ready to give you their singular takes on the puzzles and questions IFHP works with today. We’re glad to welcome you and hope you will visit us often.
IFHP founder Ebenezer Howard had ‘Tomorrow’ in mind when he set us in motion with the slogan ‘Cities for Tomorrow.’ This blog and our centenary celebrations revisit that forward looking perspective but this time in the 21st century.
In celebration of 100 years of IFHP we are bringing together voices from across the spectrum of planning professionals. Planning people usually have a lot to say about what they do so we’re giving them a space to share those ideas. Expect accounts from our events, previews of what’s to come and even a retrospective anecdote or two. We see this blog as a chance to dive into the real world cases of the themes and topics that shape our centenary and, more importantly, that are shaping the world of Tomorrow.
In the last one hundred yesteryears IFHP has grown into one of the most prominent organizations in its field. Today, the Federation enjoys partnerships with many influential, international organizations. Join us here to see what Tomorrow brings.
