Multifunctional and Intensive Land Use Guide

The MILU Guide is a document for planners, architects, developers, policy makers and public servants working in the field of regional and urban planning. The purpose of this guide is to assist and support professionals dealing with MILU and other related planning issues in an interactive way; using the Workshop formula of the Implementation Laboratory or Implementation Lab. To accelerate the exchange of observations, suggestions and the production of reccomendations, transcending hierarchica, cultural and/or language barriers. It also contains good practices and reference cases that illustrate the intended more sustainable development of regions and cities.

This guide is published in conjunction with the MILUnet report, Multifunctional and Intensive Land Use; principles, practices, projects, policies, as the final product of the INTERREG IIIC operation MILUnet which ran from January 2004 until May 2007.
