Towards A New Urban Agenda - Part 1

Introduction to Habitat III, The New Urban Agenda and New Urban Governance.

IFHP President Flemming Borreskov

Taking the New Urban Agenda forward: the role of the real estate industry

Professionals working in the built environment industry can play a critical role in translating the broad aims of the New Urban Agenda into policy and action. To do so requires decoding the complexity of multi-lateral negotiations to identify where practitioners can have a meaningful impact to the benefit of all. The real estate industry must work to identify how to best engage in the multi-level governance processes through which the Agenda and related initiatives will be implemented.
