IFHP’S Regitze Hess Receives ico-D President's Award

On Saturday October 21, our IFHP Special Advisor Regitze Hess received ico-D President’s Award from David Grossman, for the joint effort on behalf of our three respective organizations.
We are pleased to spread the news about Regitze’s achievement, being a key player in this joint effort between IFHP x IFLA x icoD (The International Council of Design), in our collaboration on the World Design Summit and in particular for her role in drafting the Design Declaration
Says the ico-D 27th General Assembly Report about the winners of the award: “Over the past four years, a primary ico-D focus has been the World Design Summit Meeting. Our International Partners as fellow Steering Committee members in this effort have been the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and the International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP). The two persons representing these organisations have been Kathryn Moore, President of IFLA, and Regitze Marianne Hess, Special Advisor to IFHP.”
The organization goes on the praise our colleague: “Regitze brings substantial experience with international non-design entities and is acutely aware of the importance of broad social inclusion for realising the potential of design.”
In their dedication to the World Design Summit Meeting effort, both women have not only well-served their own organisations, but have contributed to the welfare of the entire international design community, across all disciplines.
We are extremely proud of Regitze and her much-deserved recognition in the form of this Award!
