London Convening 2023

From 23 to 25 October 2023, IFHP organised a site visit to London to facilitate dialogue on sustainable housing and living environments, exchange perspectives on housing and planning, and explore inspiring UK case studies.

The convening opened with Housing & Planning Dialogues, bringing together perspectives from TCPA/UK, Vereniging Deltametropool (VDM), and IFHP. This was followed by a presentation by Kate Henderson from the National Housing Federation and a session at DLA with contributions from Fiona Robinson of MK Futures 2050 and Adam Sciberras of MK Development Partnership.

The programme concluded with site visits to St Clements London Community Land Trust and Milton Keynes, providing participants with insights into community-led housing, urban transformation, and innovative approaches to sustainable development.
