Council Members

A group of dedicated housing & planning professionals all over the world

The IFHP Council is the primary governance body representing the memberbase. Council members are elected representatives who bring legitimacy, sectoral expertise, and institutional credibility to IFHP's work. Council members represent themselves and their institution. They act under a mandate from the members who elected them, confirmed by the board and council.

Fellowship

Strengthening IFHP’s thinking capacity and public presence

The IFHP Fellowship is a time-bound institutional role intended to extend the organisation’s intellectual reach, visibility, and external engagement capacity. The Fellowship combines earned recognition with active engagement. Fellows act on behalf of IFHP and represent the organisation, they are not honorary title-holders. Fellows provide intellectual leadership, strategic reflection, and outward-facing legitimacy, while operating outside governance structures and without intervening in organisational decision-making.
